Farmers' markets, produce vendors & farms

Alderney Farmers Market

Many of the regular staples, including prepared meals. Order by Thursday at noon for secure no-contact curbside pick up on Saturday at Alderney Landing. 

Birdies Bread

Vendors include Birdies Bread, Ciro's Cheese, Goodmore Kombucha, and more. Items include bread, coffee, kombucha, meats, greens, and cheese. Pickup and ordering on specific days only - but always worth it! 

Brewery Market

Adapting to the new circumstances, the market has shifted to a weekday grocery store, the Neighbourhood Goods Storefront, allowing limited number shopping Wednesday to Friday 11am - 1pm & Saturdays 7:30am - 1:30pm. However, they also offer curbside pick-up for pre-orders placed through their website, including weekly Saturday Brewery Box.

Bountywoods Farm

Offering a wide variety of products for local pick up at the Halifax Forum Market (outside) on Saturdays. Items include free-range chicken, turkey, eggs, grass-fed beef, as well as cookies, sweets and crackers made with no sugar and no wheat. Herbs, flowers and vegetables when in season

Edible Earth Farm
 
Spring shoots, greens, and then some more greens. Weekly at the Halifax Forum market. This is a new farm - let's show them love to make sure they'll be around for year and years to come!
 

Elmridge Farm

Offering delivery to the HRM, Elmridge Farm has a wide range of vegetables, eggs, preserves, sauces, jams and more. (Also available through the Wolfville Market if you'd like to combine an order with other vendors.)

Noggins Corner Farm

Pre-order all your Noggins products, including veggies, fruit, pantry items, meat, ready meals and more. Just like Taproot farm (below), next-day delivery available ($15 for home delivery in HRM, $4 to local hubs).

Halifax Greens

Did you know that premium quality, pesticide-free herbs are being grown at an indoor farm, right in downtown Halifax? Well, they also happen to deliver, so go get some greens!

Happy Cap Mushrooms Farm

Gourmet mushrooms and mushroom grow kits, offered with free local delivery every Friday in HRM for orders made by Thursday at noon (minimum $20 order).

Noggins at Alderney Landing

Just call in your order, and the wonderful staff at Noggins will pack it up and even take it out to your trunk when you arrive. Super easy, secure and super fast. You can find their opening hours on their FB page. 

Norbert's Good Food & Selwood Green Farm
 
Usually cooking up delicious storms at the Seaport Market, Norbert's is now offering food box pick-ups at the Halifax Brewery Market, Tantallon and Hubbards.  

Taproot Farm Organic

Lots of farm staples, including Noggins products, meat, ready meals and more. Offered with next-day home delivery ($15, less if delivering to local hubs) in HRM and Valley or delivery to your local Noggins store ($4).

From locally sourced fruits, veggies, dairy and meat to grains, these guys got you covered with delivery from Ship Harbour to Porters Lake (free delivery on orders over $50).

Collaboration between Afishionados, Abundant Acres Farm (if you are interested in their Farm Share/CSA, click here), Holdanca Farm, Espresso 46, and other primary suppliers. Items include fish, veggies, meat, eggs, milk, bread, coffee and more. Delivery available in HRM ($7)

Wolfville Market

Delivering to HRM pick up hubs Wednesday and Saturday. You will find many market staples (including wine!) Ordering only open on specific days, so register to be kept in the loop. Various drop off locations in HRM (no home delivery)
