Made right in Dartmouth, this small shop specializes in fine traditional and not so traditional handmade blue cheese. Call or email in your order and pay by EMT. 

Cavicchi’s Meats 

Focused on meat, this Tantallon store also has a wide range of groceries (including eggs, bread, veggies and much more), available for secure pickup orders and local delivery. 

The Curd Girl/Sweetwood Farm

Located in Mahone Bay, they have healthy food boxes available. Items include free-range heritage eggs, pork products, pickles and preserves, hand made goats milk soap, and various small-batch specialty items - such as organic grape glaze/syrup, amazing yogurt, ice cream, chicken or pork, quiche, maple syrup, and even small-batch roasted coffee. Evan's is now selling fresh and frozen fish with local delivery for pre-ordered fish. Place your order online or call in (times specified on the website). 

Free Range Meat Store

Getaway Farmers and Butchers

​

Seaport Market staple, available for next day pickup at Hydrostone, Seaport Market and Bedford. Items include meat, eggs, and Goodmore Kombucha. 

Lebrun Seafoods

​

Delivers fresh haddock in 5lb or 10 lb boxes to your door. Order by Tuesday for delivery on Friday. The best way to order is to email them directly.

Mayflower Market

Looking for locally sourced Meat boxes? These guys got you covered. 

Fill your freezer thanks to their home delivery. (Follow their FB for updates about veggies being added to their website over the next weeks).

Moorbern Farm

​

This small farm is offering delicious pork (think chops, sausage smoked hams), chicken and eggs and delivers in HRM and throughout the Windsor/Hanstport area. Prices and item list can be found on their FB page, and orders can be placed through phone or email.

Roma Cheese Ltd.

Giving a special shoutout to the warmest and most fantastic person, Ciro, who also happens to produce the most delicious Italian cheeses. He usually sells at Seaport and Alderney Landing, but you can order his cheese through Birdies and Alderney Landing Market (links here) or you can contact him to arrange home delivery (Saturday only). 

 Shani's Farm

Offering a wide range of meat, including free-range poultry, pastured heritage pork, lamb, goat, as well as free-range eggs and monthly CSA boxes. Weekly delivery to HRM and home deliveries.

That Dutchman's Cheese Farm

Cheese, cheese, and then some more cheese. You can usually find them at the Seaport market, but now you can order ahead for easy pickup or arrange delivery. Details and contact on their FB page.

The Warehouse Market

Aficionados are still selling their fresh and frozen fish, including oysters, in their usual spot on Isleville Street. Order online for delivery ($7 in HRM) or pick-up, or chose secure, low numbers in-store shopping.
